What to expect

Most vehicles built after 2016 have a camera mounted to the windshield that runs lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. When the windshield is replaced, that camera moves by fractions of a degree — enough to make those systems react late, early or not at all.

Calibration realigns the camera to the manufacturer's specification using targets and diagnostic equipment (static), a controlled road drive (dynamic), or both. We perform it in-house as part of the windshield replacement, so you never leave with a warning light or a silent safety system.

  • Static & dynamic

Target-board calibration in the shop and on-road dynamic calibration, as your manufacturer requires.

  • Same visit as the glass

No second appointment at a dealership. Replacement and calibration happen together.

  • All major makes

Toyota, Honda, Ford, GM, Hyundai/Kia, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, VW, BMW, Mercedes and more.

  • Printed report

You receive a calibration report confirming the system passed for your records and insurer.

The process

How it works

  1. 01

    Pre-scan

We read the vehicle's modules to confirm which systems need calibration and there are no other faults.

  2. 02

    Calibrate

Targets are positioned to the millimetre and the camera is aligned; a road drive completes dynamic calibration if required.

  3. 03

    Verify

Post-scan confirms all systems are active with no codes. You get the report.
